Name: Matt Barry
As a senior at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, I am majoring in film. I am currently writing a script
that I hope to begin filming by the early next year.
My "day" job (which of course could always change) is currently a paid internship position with Comcast Cable's production
department, writing and editing PSAs for non-profit organizations.
My "other" jobs (sometimes paid, often not) include writing about film for a variety of sources, performing standup comedy
(occasionally), and of course, the film projects, some of which are now available on my YouTube channel at:
www.youtube.com/comedyfilm
My interest in the history of film began in 1991 when I first saw Chaplin's Modern Times and became hooked on
film after that. Since then, I have tried to study every aspect of the film industry, from the directors, to the actors, and
the technicians, as well as film genres and film-producing countries from all over the world.
I hope this site is useful in finding information related to film.
The additional links are links to my favorite pages on other topics.
Since this is primarily a film site, I suppose I should list some of my favorite movies:

Last, The Bank Dick, The Nutty Professor, Mon Oncle, Love and Death, Sons of the Desert, The Road Movies, Monsieur Beaucaire.
